5 amazing tools that will enhance your website.

Making a good website is cool, but making a great website is an art. There are many tools online, but here are my top 5 on tools that you could use of your next amazing website.

1. Sublime Text

Sublime Text is one of the best text editors and crowd’s favorite. What makes Sublime different from other text editor is its amazing feature set. You can add plugins and add-ons for specific programming languages. In addition, Sublime has great keyboard shortcuts so it’s much easier to navigate and get things done. Sublime is my personal favorite because it’s very simple to use, yet extremely powerful.

2. Unsplash

Free Stock Images for you! That’s right, Unsplash offers free HD stock images that you could use on your website. Unsplash includes mesmerizing images and is definitely the best free stock image website to use. 10 new HD images are uploaded on their website every 10 days, so there’s always something new coming up.

3. Compressor.io

Sometimes the images that you use for your website are extremely big and takes too much bandwidth. You want to do your best trying to keep the image as small as possible and that’s where compressor.io comes in. Compressor.io is an image compressing software that compressing your image up to 99% without losing any quality. They support JPG, PNG, GIF, and SVG. Compressor.io is probably one of my favorite tools and best thing about it is that it’s completely free.

4. The Noun Project

Whether you’re in a need of a symbol or a glyph icon, The Noun Project is an amazing source for all of typographical symbols and glyph icons created and uploaded by great designers. Beautiful and elegant designed icons that you could implement on your website. The Noun Project gives you the ability to choose from SVG or PNG format, (SVG is better one because it’s scalable so your symbols/icon will never be pixelated).

5. GitHub Pages

Now that you’ve made your beautiful looking website, the trickiest part is to host it. GitHub Pages is a perfect solution to that. GitHub Pages are public webpages that are hosted and published through GitHub, a Git repository service for version control. GitHub allows one user page for each user. For example, if your username joedoe, your user page will be joedoe.github.io. It’s perfect and it’s simple.

These are few of the most used online tools that I use for my web projects. Few other creative and powerful tools are worth mentioning, such as Font Awesome and InVision.
